The recording process is going really smoothly for the new album. Five songs are completely done, and we'll commence with the rest soon. The amount of tracks and album title have yet to be decided.

We've been blessed to have Chris Perry join the ranks as bassist. He's been really quick to learn all our older material and we've begun to work on new material as well. Stillglow is incredibly excited with the new line-up. Although we will retain the same characteristics our fans have grown to love, we will also explore new elements and avenues...

Stillgow is currently looking for a new permanent bassist. Alex has been with us since the beginning, but it is time for him to move on. No hard feelings. We wish him the best!

We played at the Muddpuddle last night for an ABC reality show. It was an educating experience. I will leave it at that. You live, you learn. The thing that struck me most was the other band, and the fans. Music is an amazing thing, but it is only as good as the people that passionately pursue, provide, and protect it. We are very thankful for the opportunity to still be doing what we love. Thanks

Question: Where has STILLGLOW been?

Answer: Slowly dying...and writing new music in the process.

This past month or so we've taken some time off to write new material and re-group. Beginning in late August you'll see more of us. We have also discussed recording a new E.P.. We'll keep you posted as things advance. Thanks!

May 28, 2007, Rob Cibelli most likely played his last show with STILLGLOW. For those of you that do not know, Rob will be getting married in November 2008. In light of this, he is moving to New York at the end of June or early July.

Rob joined STILLGLOW last year as the full-time drummer when Kenny King Jr. left the band. Rob was lucky drummer #3 (drummers hate us). Rob Cibelli is an amazing drummer, bandmate, and friend. We will miss him horribly, but we support his decisions; there are no ill feelings. Rob is, and will always be, a member of STILLGLOW. As stupid as that sounds, he has made a very lasting impression on all of us!!!

All that being said, everyone say "Hi, Hunter!!!". Hunter Lidbeck of SYB will be stepping into Rob's role as the new drummer for STILLGLOW. He was introduced 05.28.07 at Fletchers and performed one song with us. Hunter will be a great asset to the band. Rob has given him the stamp of approval and we are very exicted to see what new dimension Hunter will add to STILLGLOW.

It is clearly evident that we have Spinal Tap's luck with drummers. All we can hope is that Hunter doesn't spontaneously combust.

Well, here is the new site. It's good to finally have it up and running. I am really looking forward to the new album and a new chapter in the Stillglow story. We are very excited to have Rob join the band. He's been a good friend for some time, and he will make a great addition to Stillglow. They say third time's the charm. Let's hope that's true!
